Bajaj has finally launched the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle today. The motorbike has been teased several times, releasing a few details about it. The Freedom, a CNG-powered motorcycle, is aimed at more cost-conscious customers, with promises that it could help save fuel expenditure by up to 65% when compared to a regular petrol motorcycle.

The Freedom CNG 125 bike comes in three models and is priced starting at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new model are now being accepted online and at the company’s official dealerships. Starting today!

Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG bike features

With its dual fuel capabilities, the Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG bike can smoothly switch between petrol and compressed natural gas (CNG) depending on availability and price, which might reduce total running costs. There is a 2 L CNG tank and a separate 2 L petrol tank included with the bike. The CNG tank has been placed under the seat by the manufacturer. Furthermore, according to Bajaj Auto, the bike can travel 330 kilometres on a single tank of fuel.
