Audi earlier stated that by the end of 2025, it will have launched 20 new models, ten of which will be electric. The first teaser for the next Q5 has been released by Audi and the model’s September 2 launch date has been confirmed. The brand is anticipated to release a Sportback model with a sloping roofline once the new Q5 is revealed.

The first teaser only showcases the next-generation SUV’s unique headlight design. The LED DRLs are stretched out even farther, giving the lights an even more long, leaner shape. In comparison to the outgoing model, the lower bumper features sharper edges, suggesting a sportier and more aggressive design for the SUV.

The upcoming Q5 comes after the A5, which debuted in July and was the first internal combustion vehicle to use Audi’s updated naming system. Models with odd numbers will indicate internal combustion engines, whereas models with even numbers will be reserved for electric cars.

The Audi Q5 had its most significant modification in India in 2021 when the facelifted model was introduced. At the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, this model was assembled locally. Furthermore, Audi has released special edition vehicles in the Indian market with the most recent of them being the “Bold Edition,” which debuted in July 2024.
