The much-awaited Rizta scooter from Ather was recently launched, with the base model costing Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). With plans to soon extend to more states, the company has started delivering the Rizta scooter in Delhi, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
With a length of 900 mm, the Ather Rizta scooter is the largest model in their lineup and has the most spacious seat of any scooter in India. All riders, regardless of size, will find comfort in this large size. Ample under-seat storage makes it simple to keep everyday necessities like groceries, bags and umbrellas. The scooter also has a front storage bin, which is a useful spot to keep things like cleaning clothes, extra cash and wallets.
The 450 series and the new Ather Rizta are similar in terms of design elements, platform and battery pack. But it doesn’t have the ‘Wrap’ riding mode like the other versions and its mid-drive motor is a little less powerful. According to IDC certification, the Rizta has two battery options: a 2.9kWh battery with a range of 123 km and a 3.7kWh battery with a range of 160 km. The price plan is intended to appeal to a wide range of customers with various demands and spending capacities. Other well-known electric scooters such as the Ola S1 and TVS iQube series are rivals of the Ather Rizta.
