Ather Energy Limited has expanded its Rizta family scooter lineup with the launch of the Rizta S variant equipped with a 3.7kWh battery. Priced at Rs 1,37,047 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new model offers an IDC-certified range of 159 km, making it suitable for daily commuters seeking higher range at an accessible price point.
The Rizta series, introduced in 2024 as Ather’s first family-focused electric scooter range, now comprises four variants. The Rizta lineup has contributed over 60% of Ather’s total sales and recently crossed the milestone of one lakh units sold within a year of launch.
The Rizta S 3.7kWh retains popular design elements like a 34-litre underseat storage (expandable by 22 litres with the optional Frunk), a wide seat for rider and pillion comfort, and a flat floorboard layout.
Key features include a 7-inch DeepView™ display with turn-by-turn navigation, AutoHold™, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, Tow and Theft Alerts, Find My Scooter, and Alexa integration. The scooter also offers over-the-air (OTA) updates and access to the Ather Grid network, which now has more than 3,900 charging points across India.
Bookings for the new variant are open both online and at Ather showrooms, with deliveries scheduled to begin in July 2025.
