Ashok Leyland reported a strong performance in October 2025, with total (domestic + exports) vehicle sales rising 16% year-on-year to 17,820 units, compared to 15,310 units in October 2024.

In the domestic market, sales grew 16% to 16,314 units, up from 14,067 units a year ago, driven by solid demand across both the Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segments.

M&HCV truck sales in India increased 11% to 7,972 units, while M&HCV bus sales surged 33% to 1,639 units. The combined M&HCV domestic sales stood at 9,611 units, marking a 14% growth over last year. The LCV segment continued to perform well, with sales up 19% year-on-year at 6,703 units.

Including exports, Ashok Leyland’s total M&HCV sales rose 15% to 10,865 units in October 2025 from 9,408 units in the same month last year. The bus category remained a standout performer, posting a robust 34% jump to 2,608 units, supported by both domestic and overseas demand.

For the cumulative April–October 2025 period, the company’s overall (domestic + exports) sales reached 1,11,174 units, up 6% from 1,04,827 units in the same period of FY24.
