Tata Motors has been aiming to extend its electric car lineup in the Indian market. The company has recently introduced products such as the Curvv EV, which was previously only shown as a concept vehicle. The next next vehicle appears to be the Harrier EV. The firm seems to be working on the production version of the car, which was first shown in concept form at the 2023 Auto Expo and then again at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The electric SUV is now being tested and a test mule was seen in a parking area near Jabalpur, MP.
The test mule spotted in MP even showed the electric SUV’s design elements while being camouflage. The EV appears to have many design elements from its ICE sibling based on the images. Moreover, the concept version’s components are also included in the design details. Sequential LED DRLs, LED fog lights and bi-LED projector headlamps are examples of these. The automobile gets a closed-off grille, similar to those found on the majority of Tata Motors cars that are developed from ICE vehicles, to set it apart from the ICE variant.
While maintaining the same appearance as the ICE model, the Tata Harrier EV’s 17-inch alloy wheels with Apollo tyres have a new design. The car has OVRMs, blacked-out pillars, conventional door handles and other features.
