KTM has officially opened bookings for the 2025 390 Adventure in India from February 2, 2025. The Austrian motorcycle maker recently unveiled the India-spec model, offering two variants – 390 Adventure X and 390 Adventure S.

KTM 390 Adventure Features

The new-gen 390 Adventure range boasts a sharper, off-road-focused design inspired by KTM’s Dakar rally bikes. Key highlights include:

  • Dual-projector LED headlamps with DRLs
  • Redesigned front cowl and mudguard
  • Adjustable foot pegs for seated and standing positions

The 390 Adventure X features 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with road-biased tyres, while the S variant gets 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in Apollo Tramplr tyres.

Both variants get a WP Apex USD fork and a monoshock rear suspension. However, the Adventure X has a reduced 200 mm travel, while the R variant (not available in India) boasts 230 mm travel. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc with ByBre radial calipers.

The new 390 Duke’s 399 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine powers the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure. This motor, which is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter and an assist and slipper clutch, generates 44 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The bike is claimed to have a 29 km/l fuel economy.

The lineup includes a 5-inch TFT digital console with Bluetooth connectivity. The S variant gets premium features like cruise control, cornering ABS, traction control, and three ride modes (Street, Rain, Off-road). However, the entry-level Adventure X misses out on these but retains off-road ABS.
