The highly awaited Force Gurkha has now made its spectacular entry into the Indian market. The new Gurkha 5-door variant is priced at Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom), while the upgraded Gurkha 3-door costs Rs 16.75 lakh.
Bookings are currently being accepted and a Rs 25,000 deposit is needed to secure your spot. Test drives and customer deliveries will begin in mid-May, according to Force Motors, which assures that deliveries will begin this week.
2024 Force Gurkha Features
The 2024 Force Gurkha has many design upgrades. These include circular LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, a new single-slat grille with ‘Gurkha’ lettering and fog lamps with a cornering feature. The 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rack with integrated ladder, spare wheel located on the tailgate and tow hook are further highlights.
Inside the interior, there are some noticeable modifications made to the dashboard. A 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, powered ORVMs, a digital instrument cluster, a tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, a rear camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system and many more features are included with the 2024 Force Gurkha.
Both Gurkha models are powered by a 2.6-litre Mercedes-sourced diesel engine that has been modified to produce 140 bhp and 320Nm. This power boost outperforms the Thar’s 132 bhp, 2.2-litre diesel engine.
