Narayana Murthy is one of the top billionaire businessmen in India. He is the founding father of one of the top technology companies of India, Infosys. He had taken over the following positions of chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), president, and chief mentor of the establishment before giving up his position and being the nominal chairman.
He is said to have been born and brought up in Shidlaghatta, Karnataka. He is a graduate of electoral engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, University of Mysore and then further moving on to a masters degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Before kicking off his career essentials he is said to be employed at the Indian Institute of Management and the Patni computer systems in Pune as the chief systems programmer.
He established Infosys in the year 1981 and carried out the position of the CEO from the year 1981 to 2002 and from there on the chairman from 2002 to 2011. He is also have been enlisted among the top 12 entrepreneurs by Fortune magazine. He is also known as the father of the Indian IT field by the famous time Magzine and CNBC. He is also said to be honoured with Padma Vibhushan and numerous other Padma Shri awards. As of now, the billionaire estimates to have a total net profit of $4.3 billion.
It has that Murthy has about two childrenRohan Murty, and Akshata Murthy. While his wife Sudha Murthy is a hardworking social worker and alongside being an author working with the Infosys Foundation on philanthropic projects.
His private trading company Catamaran Ventures has put resources into Yebhi, Hector Beverages, Innoviti, Coverfox and furthermore has a joint endeavor with Amazon called Cloudtail which is the biggest vender on Amazon India.
