Amitabh Bachchan is the living legend of Indian Film Industry. He proved to be a hero in real life also. Here is the story of his heroic return from the deep financial mess he was into. Amitabh tells this inspiring story to inspire his fans to keep hope in difficult situations of life.

In 1995 Amitabh started Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd (ABCL) that specialized in film production and event management. It organized Miss India Pageant in 1996 that failed miserably. By 1999, Amitabh Bachchan became bankrupt. The Bombay high court restrained him from selling off his Mumbai bungalow ‘Prateeksha‘ and two flats till the pending loan recovery cases of Canara Bank were dealt with, he had no work, his personal bank balance was nil. Dhirubhai Ambani heard about Amitabh’s situation and asked his youngest son Anil, who was a close friend of Amitabh, to help him. The money that Dhirubhai had offered to give could solve all yhe monetary problems of Amitabh once for all but he refused to take the money. After a brief period of time, Amitabh made a comeback with Yash Raj Chopra’s Mohabbatein. After that he hosted the iconic show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ that turned his fate. But he did not forget that Dhirubhai Ambani offered him help when others would avoid him. When that bad phase was gone, Amitabh came across Dhirubai at an event. Dhirubhai was busy talking with his friends who were business tycoons. When he saw Amitabh, he asked to come to him. Amitabh felt a bit hesitant and said he was fine there with his friends. Dhirubhai insisted him to come near him. When he went, Dhirubhai praised Amitabh in front of his friends saying, “This boy once fell. But he stood up again all by himself “. Amitabh Bachchan still considers that moment very special. The crisis period taught him not to lose hope, to have faith in himself and try to solve the problem on his own. With his hardwork, he was able to repay the full amount of debt i.e. ₹90crore.
