SBI General Insurance declares Prakash Chandra Kandpal as MD and CEO. A non-life subsidiary of State Bank of India, SBI General Insurance appointed Prakash Chandra Kandpal as the current Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer.
Prakash Chandra Kandpal has been designated as Deputy CEO of SBI General. Since June 2019. He has over 33 years of work experience with SBI.
Moreover, acquiring expertise in corporate and global banking, human resource, technology , training and development over the past few years. He was also a member of the SBI Mutual Fund as Chief Operating Officer.
Former director and CEO of the insurance firm, Pushan Mahapatra, has been named as director (strategic investment & digital initiatives). He will keep going to be the director of SBI for the entire time.
