MP Governor Lalji Tandon dies at the age of 85.
He passed away in Lucknow after a prolonged illness. He was admitted in Medanta Hospital on June 13, due to urine problem and fever. Later the days he was kept on ventillator.
Lalji Tandon was born on 12 the April, 1935. He has three sons. He has served UP Vidhan Sabha for three terms. He was elected elected to 15th Lok Sabha from Lucknow in 2009. He was appointed Governor of Bihar in 2018 and then was shifted to Madhya Pradesh in 2019.

Shri Lalji Tandon will be remembered for his untiring efforts to serve society. He played a key role in strengthening the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. He made a mark as an effective administrator, always giving importance of public welfare. Anguished by his passing away. Shri Lalji Tandon was well versed with constitutional matters.
