Prime Minister, Narendra Modi wished former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh for a speedy recovery on Friday. The Former Chief Minister has been undergoing treatment for his health ailments at PGI Lucknow for around two weeks. At first, he was admitted to RML Institute in the state’s capital and was later moved to PGI.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Countless people across India are praying for the speedy recovery of Kalyan Singh Ji.” He further affirmed through the tweet that he spoke to the former Chief Minister’s grandson and enquired about his health.

The National President of Bharatiya Janata Party JP Nadda met him just the day before, on Thursday, to wish him a speedy recovery. Reportedly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah had also shown concern and asked about Kalyan Singh’s health over the phone. The present Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath also paid a visit to him, several times in the hospital.
JP Nadda directly arrived at SGPGI from the airport and asked about the former Chief Minister and BJP Stalwart’s health. As far as the sources are concerned, the BJP president also spoke to Kalyan Singh. Along with JP Nadda, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP Uttar Pradesh Chief Swatantra Dev Singh were also present at the venue.
JP Nadda after meeting the former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh tweeted, ” Today I went to SGPGI Hospital in Lucknow and met the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Kalyan Singh Ji and inquired about his health. I pray to God for his speedy recovery.”, as cited by ‘NEWS18.COM’
The hospital released a statement, ” The condition of the hon’ble Shri Kalyan Singh Ji, who is admitted in the ICU of critical care medicine is better. He is hemodynamically stable. Shri Kalyan Singh Ji is showing consistent improvement. His vital parameters are stable. He is communicative. He is being treated by senior faculty of CCM, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Nephrology.” as cited by ‘NEWS18.COM’.
Today, Bihar Minister Shahnawaz Hussain is expected to visit Singh at the hospital in Lucknow, after which he is supposed to meet Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath.
