IndusInd Bank appoints Santosh Kumar as Deputy CFO, relieves Arun Khurana from additional charge

IndusInd Bank on Thursday announced a key leadership change in its finance division. The bank’s Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Santosh Kumar as Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Special Officer – Finance & Accounts, effective April 18, 2025. He will now oversee the bank’s finance and accounts functions as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) until a full-time CFO is appointed.

Mr. Kumar, currently serving as the Chief Accountant, is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. His expertise spans across planning and budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, and cost management. Before joining IndusInd Bank, he held senior roles at ICICI Bank, where he led financial accounting and reporting, and also worked at PwC on consulting assignments in risk, compliance, and financial process optimization.

The bank also announced that Mr. Arun Khurana, Whole-time Director & Deputy CEO, who had taken on the additional responsibility of CFO from January 21, 2025, has been relieved from this charge with effect from close of business hours on April 17, 2025. The board thanked Mr. Khurana for effectively discharging the additional responsibilities during this interim period.
