Elon Musk suggests ‘Scandal Name’ hours after refuting sexual harassment charge

Elon Musk retweeted a post from last year in which he offered the name “Elongate” if there was ever a crisis involving him. “At long last, we may utilise Elongate as a scandal name.” “It’s almost perfect,” Musk said on Twitter.

Only a few hours after a story claimed that SpaceX paid an employee $250,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit against the company’s creator Elon Musk, the billionaire not only refuted the claim, but also offered a suitable’scandal name’ for the situation. The attacks against him, according to the billionaire, “should be regarded through a political lens.” Furthermore, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that nothing will stop him from “pushing for a better future and your right to free expression.”

Musk’s suggestion that the claims be viewed through a “political lens” appeared to be a reference to his new voting preference. The world’s richest man announced earlier this week that he previously voted for Democrats but will now vote for Republicans.

Musk denies credibility of allegations

Earlier, Musk had tweeted, “the attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard (despicable) playbook – but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech.”

Meanwhile, late Thursday, the billionaire took to Twitter. To deny charges in a news story that he sexually assaulted a flight attendant on a private jet in 2016.

This comes as Business Insider reported on Thursday that Musk’s SpaceX paid $250,000 to settle a sexual harassment allegation from an unnamed private aircraft flight attendant who accused Musk of exposing himself to her in 2018.

According to the post, an unidentified source claimed to be a friend of the flight attendant. According to the story, the friend gave a statement as part of the private settlement process.

“I have a challenge to this liar. Who claims their friend saw me ‘exposed’ – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …). That isn’t known by the public. She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened”. Musk tweeted.

On Thursday evening, Musk first tweeted, “the attacks against me should be viewed through a political lens – this is their standard (despicable) playbook – but nothing will deter me from fighting for a good future and your right to free speech.” He did not expressly cite the claims in the Business Insider report in his first tweet.

“And, for the record, those wild accusations are utterly untrue,” Musk added in another tweet. He also claimed that the piece was written to derail Twitter’s takeover.
