Congress MPs were detained by Delhi Police on Wednesday while they were marching from Vijay Chowk to the President’s House to protest against the Enforcement Directorate’s quizzing of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and suspension of MPs from Parliament.

“We want to raise the voice of the common people in Parliament. We were moving towards the Rashtrapati Bhavan. But were stopped by the police. We have been detained”. Congress MP Manish Tewari said while being taken away from the site.

Earlier, the police detained Congress workers outside the AICC headquarters.
