Astral Limited has announced the resignation of its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Mr. Ashok Cherian, effective from March 31, 2025. The company disclosed this development in an exchange filing dated April 1, 2025, in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the filing, Mr. Cherian has stepped down from his role to pursue career opportunities outside the organisation. In his resignation letter, he confirmed that he has no claims against the company and has requested to be relieved of his responsibilities as of the end of March.
Mr. Ashok Cherian had been a key part of Astral’s leadership team, leading IT initiatives and digital transformation at the company. While the company has not announced a successor yet, it acknowledged Mr. Cherian’s contribution and is expected to initiate the process of finding a suitable replacement.
There were no relationships disclosed between Mr. Cherian and other board members or directors, as per regulatory requirements.
