Supreme Court in its order on Wednesday extended the interim bail of social activist Teesta Setalvad till July 19.
 
                  
The case against Teesta Setalvad goes back in the year 2002 when Gujarat suffered from the worst communal riots the country has ever witnessed claiming lives of disputed numbers.
 
                  
A special bench of the Supreme Court is expected to hear the case soon whereas Gujarat High Court asked Setalvad to surrender immediately.
 
                  
For allegedly manipulating evidence to incriminate "innocent persons" in the 2002 Gujarat riot cases, Setalvad was detained on June 25.
