The Indian indices opened at a low global cue by marking a fall in Sensex by 33.84 points or 0.06% at 58971.43 and nifty was decreased by 11.80 points or 0.07% at 17550.20. About 408 shares got declined, 1302 shares have advanced and 97 shares remained unchanged.
IT stocks were in the red. Sensex, Nifty opened marginally higher on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Sensex, Nifty opened higher. Asian stocks rose after a boost to the U.S. vaccination drive allayed some concerns over the delta strain’s economic impact, lifting Wall Street.
The sectoral indices were combined with Nifty IT increasing by around 2.3 per cent, FMCG by 1.4 per cent and pharma by about 0.5 per cent.
The Nifty Metal index was among the top Nifty gainer with a 1.5 per cent share rate. Oil & Gas, FMCG and Financial Services indexes also reached higher slots.
