Union Territory of J&K issued an order which halts security clearance of passports for stone pelters
The order said that it must be ensured that during the verification related to passport, service, and any other verification related to government services or schemes, the subjects involvement with law and order, stone pelting cases and other crime prejudicial to the security of the state would be specifically looked into and the same must be corroborated with the local police station records.
