World is looking forward to India’s Budget: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that in today’s global circumstances, not only India but the entire world is looking at India’s budget.

Speaking to the media just ahead of the start of the Parliament’s Budget session, PM Modi today said “in view of the unstable global economic situation, India’s Budget will attempt to meet the hopes and aspirations of the common citizens”.

“I firmly believe that Nirmala Sitharaman will make all efforts to meet those aspirations” he said.

The Prime Minister said that “Taking the thought of ‘India first, citizen first’ we will take this Budget session of Parliament forward”.

He also expressed hope that the opposition leaders will air their views in Parliament.

“In today’s scenario the world is looking forward to India’s Budget” he said.

Prime Minister Modi said, “This will be President Droupadi Murmu’s first address in Parliament and today is an opportunity for ‘naari samman”.
