The Winter Session entered its second day with continued chaos in the Lok Sabha, forcing yet another adjournment on Tuesday. The House was adjourned till 12 PM after Opposition MPs intensified their protests inside the Sadan.

Members of the Opposition stormed the Well, raising slogans and demanding immediate discussion on SIR. The disruption made it impossible for proceedings to continue, prompting the Speaker to adjourn the House shortly after it convened. Earlier also, the Opposition rushed to the well of the Lok Sabha, shouting slogans and hooting in an attempt to halt proceedings and force an adjournment. MPs continued disrupting the House, alleging they were not being allowed to raise constituency issues.

The chaos led to a massive ruckus over the SIR matter, following which the Lok Sabha was adjourned at 12 pm.

This marks the second consecutive day of protests, with the Opposition maintaining pressure and the government accusing them of stalling legislative business.

More updates to follow as the session resumes at noon.
