High tide waves have started hitting the shores of Old Digha beach in West Bengal as Cyclone Dana moves closer to the coasts of Odisha and West Bengal. The severe storm is expected to make landfall tonight, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to the region.

Cyclone Dana has been actively monitored by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) using its EOS-06 and INSAT-3DR satellites. ISRO has been tracking the storm since October 20, providing real-time data to support disaster management efforts. Authorities in both states are on high alert, with evacuation and relief measures underway to prepare for the cyclone’s impact.
