In an effort to enhance security measures and ensure the safety of visitors, a mock drill was recently conducted at the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The drill, which involved the evacuation of the temple after the sounding of a siren, aimed to test the preparedness of various security agencies in handling emergency situations.

During the mock drill, multiple security teams demonstrated their ability to coordinate effectively under pressure. The exercise saw the participation of the bomb squad, medical teams, dog squad, and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Each group played a vital role in showcasing how emergency situations could be tackled efficiently, ensuring the safety of both devotees and temple staff.

This drill was part of a broader initiative to bolster safety protocols and create a seamless response plan in the event of any security threat. By conducting such drills, authorities are able to identify potential weaknesses in existing procedures and make necessary improvements to ensure the highest level of protection.
