This marks the second Jaguar fighter crash in less than a month. On March 7, another Jaguar went down in Panchkula, Haryana, due to a technical malfunction, although the pilot had safely ejected. Additionally, an AN-32 transport aircraft had crashed the same day after landing in Bagdogra.
The Indian Air Force has yet to release an official statement on the cause of the latest crash. Investigations are currently underway to determine the circumstances leading to the tragic mishap.
