A Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near Rajasthan’s Churu district earlier today, defence sources confirmed to ANI. A police team quickly rushed to the site to cordon off the area and begin initial response efforts.
A video posted on X (formerly Twitter) shows smoke billowing in the distance, reportedly from the crash site.

This marks the third Jaguar fighter jet crash reported since March 2025, raising fresh concerns about the ageing fleet and operational safety standards. The Indian Air Force has yet to release an official statement.
