In the Rajya Sabha, Congress MP KC Venugopal has raised the issue of violation of rules in giving 6 airports in the country to Adani Group.
Adani Enterprises, which had bid successfully to run six Indian airports, is likely to be formally awarded the contracts for doing so following the re-election of the Modi government.
In the Rajya Sabha, Congress MP KC Venugopal raised the issue by saying, “The Adani Group has won bids for the operation and development of 6 airports. There is a clear violation of norms in giving an airport to a private institution. The government ignored the advice of some of its own ministries and depots. ”
