The Telangana administration declared September 17 to be “Telangana National Integration Day” on Saturday. On September 17, 1948, the former Nizam-ruled state of Hyderabad joined with the Indian Union.
After the State Cabinet meeting, which was presided over by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the government announced that a three-day celebration would start on September 16.
It claimed that on September 17, the ministers and other public figures would do the same at their various centres while the chief minister would raise the national flag in a public garden and address the crowd.
KCR would address a public gathering after holding a sizable rally in the city.
On September 18, in addition to honouring poets, artists, and other figures, district headquarters throughout the state will pay tribute to the state’s independence fighters.
According to the statement, the Cabinet also resolved to increase the number of Dalit Bandhu Scheme beneficiaries in each Assembly district from 100 to 500.
