Professional training will be allowed with 50% capacity in Delhi schools

Further easing Covid-19 curbs in the national capital, the Delhi government has allowed auditoriums and assembly halls of schools or educational institutions to conduct professional training programs at 50 percent capacity.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi government issued fresh guidelines for giving more ease as the cases of  COVID-19 are in control in the city, the statement said that it will be allowing auditoriums and assembly halls in Delhi schools use for training and meeting purposes.

All training including those conducted by the Delhi Police and army; skill training by any institute, employee training, and school/college training are now allowed in Delhi.

The auditoriums and assembly halls of schools or educational institutions can be opened for these training and programs but only with 50 percent seating capacity.

Institutes do not need special permission from the Delhi Disaster Management Authority for the same.

Meanwhile, all schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutions will remain closed, and online or distance learning will be permitted, said the order.

The services which were stopped from April 19 will be not continued till today in the urge of surging COVID-19 infections so that included, activities and services include cinema halls, multiplexes, spas, theatres, entertainment parks, political, social, cultural festivals, and such other gatherings.

The statement also added, Public transport, including Delhi Metro, will continue to operate with 50 percent seating capacity. DTC and cluster buses will also run with a 50 percent seating capacity.

The order at the send said that all the activities that are prohibited and restricted will remain so till 5 am on July 26.
