Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a roundtable discussion with top CEOs from the technology sector in New York, hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), School of Engineering. The conversation focused on advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum technologies, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, IT, and Semiconductor technologies.

During the discussion, the Prime Minister highlighted India’s commitment to becoming a global leader in technology and innovation. He emphasized the importance of collaborations between India and global companies, encouraging them to co-develop and innovate in India, leveraging the country’s growing economic and technological landscape.

The Prime Minister also touched upon India’s evolving role in electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, biotech, and green technology. He reiterated India’s goal to become a global hub for semiconductor production and promoted the ethical use of AI under India’s “AI for All” initiative.

The CEOs expressed strong interest in partnering with India and praised its innovation-friendly policies. The event underscored India’s growing prominence as a global technology hub, attracting significant attention from global industry leaders.

The roundtable was chaired by MIT’s Dean of the School of Engineering, Professor Anantha Chandrakasan, who thanked the Prime Minister and the CEOs for their participation.
