Who is Akash Anand?
- Akash Anand is the son of Mayawati’s younger brother, Anand Kumar.
- MBA graduate from London who stepped into the politics in 2017.
- Akash Anand was appointed as party’s national coordinator in 2019.
- He was among the party’s star campaigners in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
- Recently, he campaigned for BSP in assembly elections in five states, where the party succeeded in bagging 2 seats in Rajasthan.
- Akash was also given charge of the party during the Himachal assembly elections.
