In complete accordance, UP CM Yogi Adityanath was elected for the second time as Uttar Pradesh’s new Chief Minister. This was decided at the BJP legislature party meeting in Lucknow.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath swore in as UP’s new CM elected for the second consecutive time on Friday. Alongside Yogi, present were his deputies Keshav Maurya, Brijesh Pathak.

At Yogi Adityanath’s swearing ceremony, heavy-weight dignitaries included Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh. Tight security was in place in Lucknow at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Several drones were hovering above to manage the enthusiastic crowd, CCTVs were in place for added security. A collective of civil police personnel, Provincial Armed Constabulary and Anti-Terrorist Squad, close to 7000 were deployed to maintain smooth functioning of the ceremony.

Adityanath made history by winning the Assembly Polls, He is the first CM to have returned to the position after serving a term of 5 years. And since 1985, BJP attained unshaken support and power in UP.
