On Friday, Congress released its second list of 45 candidates for the upcoming Telangana assembly elections on Friday. In this list, Congress has also expressed their trust on former Indian Cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, who has been made candidate on party’s ticket from Jubilee Hills seat.

Other than Azharuddin, the party has given ticket to MP Madhu Goud Yakshi from Lal Bahadur Nagar, Ponnam Prabhakar from Husanabad, Kandi Srniwas Reddy from Adilabad, Tumla Nageshwar Rao from Khammam, K Raj Gopal Reddy from Munugode and former MP Madhu Goud Yakshi from Lal Bahadur Nagar.

With this list, the Congress party has fielded candidates on 100 out of 119 assembly seats in Telangana. The party earlier released the names of 55 candidates in their first list. The party will soon declare candidates on the remaining seats.
Voting for all seats in the state will be held in a single phase on November 30. The counting of votes and declaration of results will be done on December 3.
