On Thursday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its third list for the upcoming state assembly elections. BJP has given place to a total of 58 candidates in the third list. With this list, BJP has so far announced its candidates for 182 seats out of total 200 assembly seats. The Central Election Committee (CEC) of BJP finalised these names in a meeting on Wednesday, which was attended by PM Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda.
BJP has nominated Subhash Meel from Khandela, Uday Lal Dangi from Vallabhnagar and Darshan Singh Gurjar from Karauli. The party has also given ticket to Sumitra Poonia, who left Congress and joined BJP. All three had joined BJP yesterday i.e. on Wednesday and a day later the party gave them tickets.
The BJP has fielded Mahendra Singh Rathore against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot from Sardarpura seat, Ajit Singh Mehta from Tonk against former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot and Balmukand Acharya from Hawamahal constituency.

Before this, BJP has released two lists and announced the names of total 124 candidates. After this third list, it has announced the names of its candidates for a total of 182 out of 200 assembly seats in the state. The names of 18 candidates are still yet to be announced.
