Rajasthan Election 2023: BJP Releases First List With 7 MPs Including Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore

BJP has placed Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Jhotwara constituency, Diya Kumari from Vidhyadhar Nagar and Kirori Lal Meena from Sawai Madhopur.

On Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its first list of candidates for Rajasthan assembly elections scheduled to happen on November 23. The list came after the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule of election in 5 states including Rajasthan.

Surprisingly, the list that BJP has released consists of 7 parliamentarians who will be consisting state assembly elections on party’s ticket. The 7 MPs include Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore (MP from Jaipur Rural), Diya Kumari (MP from Rajsamand), and others. BJP has placed Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Jhotwara constituency, Diya Kumari from Vidhyadhar Nagar and Dr. Kirori Lal Meena from Sawai Madhopur.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the schedule for the legislative assembly elections in all the five states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana. Polling in Chhattisgarh will be finished in two phases, i.e., on November 7, 2023 and November 17, 2023, while all other states will observe polling on all seats in a single day. Counting of votes and declaration of results will take place on December 3 for all five states.
