‘PM Modi’s remote control in Adani hands’: Rahul Gandhi addresses rally in Satna, Madhya Pradesh

“Farmers, labourers and small traders are scared in Madhya Pradesh because the engine of the economy is not running here,” said Rahul Gandhi.

On November 10, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting in poll-bound Satna, Madhya Pradesh keeping an eye on approaching Assembly elections 2023. Rahul Gandhi made various attack on the Prime Minister Narender Modi and alleged injustice and atrocities of Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh.

“Farmers, labourers and small traders are scared in Madhya Pradesh because the engine of the economy is not running here. Congress has promised that the work we have done in Chhattisgarh, we will do the same in Madhya Pradesh also,” said Rahul Gandhi.

“Last time, big industrialists and billionaires along with Shivraj ji and Narendra Modi ji had stolen your government from Madhya Pradesh. Because he knows that the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh will not work for Adani, it will only work for farmers, labourers and small shopkeepers,” added Rahul Gandhi.

Attacking PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi said that his remote control is in Gautam Adani’s hand. “Narendra Modi ji does not talk about caste census in any of his speeches. Because the remote control of Modi ji is in the hands of Adani. But as soon as Congress government comes to power in Madhya Pradesh and Centre, we will conduct caste census,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi also made serious allegations on PM’s silence over caste census: “Narendra Modi ji says in his speech — Brothers and sisters, I belong to OBC category. But he travels in an airplane worth thousands of crores of rupees, wears a suit worth Rs 2 crores, still says – I am OBC. Saying this he became the Prime Minister. But a few days ago he said in his speech that there is only one caste in the country – the poor. Ever since Congress has talked about caste census, caste has disappeared from Narendra Modi Ji’s mind. Because he does not want to tell the truth of the country to the OBC, Dalit, tribal youth.”

Collecting his memories of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ Rahul Gandhi takes a jibe at BJP over non-employment, “During ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ I used to ask the youth, what have you studied and what are you doing? He used to say – He has done engineering, medical, legal studies, but he is unemployed. Wherever there is BJP government, youth are unemployed,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Further he added, “I met a young porter at the railway station. I asked him what was his dream before becoming a porter? He said- I want to become an engineer, I have done civil engineering, have taken a degree, have spent thousands of rupees. But I did not get employment, so I am working as a porter. This is the truth of this country.”

2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held on November 17, 2023 to elect all 230 members of the state’s Legislative Assembly.
