PM Modi takes a swipe at “Anti-BJP Forces” following Congress setback in hindi heartland states

In the aftermath of Congress’s lackluster performance in the recent assembly elections in the Hindi heartland states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t hold back, taking a pointed jab at the “anti-BJP forces.” Reacting to a television news clip, the Prime Minister expressed his sentiments on social media, remarking, “May they find contentment in their arrogance, untruths, pessimism, and lack of awareness.”

While acknowledging the alleged “divisive agenda” of these forces, Modi cautioned that breaking a habit of 70 years wouldn’t be a simple task. He added, “The wisdom of the people dictates that they should brace themselves for many more upheavals in the times ahead.”

In the news clip, an anchor discussed the perceived meltdown of unidentified “anti-BJP forces” in the wake of Congress’s defeats in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, the three Hindi heartland states that went to the polls in November. The only consolation for Congress came in Telangana, where the party wrested power from the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) led by K Chandrashekhar Rao.

On a different note, Prime Minister Modi, on Monday, advised the opposition not to channel its frustration from the assembly polls defeat within Parliament. Encouraging a forward-looking approach and urging them to leave behind the “negativity,” Modi suggested that such a change could alter the public’s perception of the opposition.

Addressing the opposition, Modi stated, “This is a golden opportunity for friends in the opposition. Instead of making plans to vent frustration over defeat, they should learn from this setback. If they move forward with positivity, leaving behind the negativity of the last nine years, a new door could open for them.”

In this context, Modi emphasized the importance of well-prepared discussions on bills, inviting the opposition to engage constructively for the benefit of the country.
