‘PM Modi, BJP snatching public properties’: Priyanka Gandhi addresses rally in Jahazpur, Rajasthan

Before Priyanka Gandhi, the rally was also addressed by senior Congress leader and former Deputy CM of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot, who also attacked BJP of doing politics of religion.

On Monday, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed a public rally in poll bound state Rajasthan. She was in Jahazpur. There, Priyanka Gandhi fiercely attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and alleged of snatching public properties by the central government.

“My brothers and sisters, think! It is up to you to decide whether to stop the relief you are getting or let it continue. Today, the time has come for you to talk about your rights. Because your property is being snatched away by the BJP government at the Center and Narendra Modi ji,” said Priyanka Gandhi.

“The policy of Congress is – In democracy, the government does not have a single rupee, all the property belongs to the people of the country. So our schemes are all about putting money in your pocket. BJP’s policy is to give all the wealth of the country to its big industrialist friends. That’s why PM Modi forgives crores of rupees of his industrialist friends, but does not forgive the loans of farmers,” added Priyanka Gandhi.

Further, Priyanka Gandhi took a jibe at PM Modi over his promise (often claimed by opposition parties) of giving 2 crore jobs a year. She said: “Keep in mind how many announcements BJP leaders made and how many of them were fulfilled. Modi ji himself had said – will provide 2 crore jobs, farmers’ income will double, the country will progress. If this is so then why are farmers, poor, labourers and employees worried under BJP governments? ”
