On Saturday, Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, made a fresh attack on the Congress party, but this time on the Caste Census issue. SP chief said that it’s a miracle that Congress party is talking upon caste census because the same Congress didn’t give the number of caste census when they were in the power.
While speaking to reporters in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi, Akhilesh Yadav made these remarks. He said: “It’s the same Congress party that didn’t give the numbers of the caste census. It is a ‘miracle’ because now everyone knows that until and unless you don’t have the support of the backward castes you won’t succeed.”
“It’s a miracle that now the Congress party wants a caste census. Congress party is now aware that the vote they were searching for is not with them anymore,” Yadav further added. (As quoted by ANI)

Akhilesh Yadav also said that PM Narendra Modi belongs himself from the backward community because he even knows that winning an election without taking support from Dalits, backwards and tribals is impossible.
This is not the first time when Akhilesh Yadav has lashed out over the oldest party of India. In the past few days, he even warned of rethinking about his party’s presence in the INDIA alliance, after Congress party denied giving tickets to his candidates in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.
On Saturday, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was in Hardoi to address the Lok Jaagran Abhiyan rally where he lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party.
