On Tuesday, Madhya Pradesh Congress released the manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections. The party has named its manifesto as a promissory note and has also mentioned 101 guarantees prominently in it. Madhya Pradesh Congress has promised to buy paddy for Rs 2600 and wheat for Rs 2599. Apart from this, the party said that if it comes to power, it will also buy cow dung. On the employment front, the party has promised that there will be two lakh new recruitments.

For jobs in the state, it has been said that MP will be made a hub for industries. On agriculture, Congress said that farmers’ loans will be waived off. Along with this, people will be provided accident insurance of Rs 10 lakh and health insurance of Rs 25 lakh.

“Congress Party has today released its promissory note for the Assembly elections 2023. This promissory note is a message of prosperity and prosperity for the people of Madhya Pradesh. We will give farmers a price of ₹ 2600 per quintal for wheat and ₹ 2500 per quintal for paddy and will increase it to ₹ 3000 per quintal. In the promissory note, a pledge has been taken for the welfare of all sections of the society. Congress will come and bring prosperity,” said MP Congress chief Kamal Nath.

Agricultural loan waiver to continue

Congress party has said that Jai Kisan will continue the agricultural loan waiver scheme. Farmers’ loans up to Rs 2.00 will be waived off. Along with this, women will be given Rs 1500/- per month as Nari Samman Nidhi. The party has said that domestic gas cylinders will be given for Rs 500/-. Under the Indira Grih Jyoti Yojana, 100 units will be given at waiver and 200 units will be given at half rate.

Congress has said in its promise letter that it will start the old pension scheme 2005 OPS. Farmers will be provided free 5 horsepower electricity for irrigation. Will waive the outstanding electricity bills of farmers.

27 pc reservation to OBCs

Along with this, the party has said that it will give 27 percent reservation to OBCs in government services and schemes and will establish Skill Upgradation University in Sagar in the name of Saint Shiromani Ravidas. The labour rate of tendu leaves will be Rs 4000/- per standard bag. Under the Padhao-Padhao scheme, Rs 500/- per month will be given to the children of government schools from class 1 to 8, Rs 1000/- per month to the children of class 9-10 and Rs 1500/- per month to the children of class 11-12.

Congress has promised in the manifesto of MP that it will withdraw the false and baseless cases related to farmers movement and electricity. Will increase the pension amount of multiple disabled people to Rs 2000/- and will conduct caste census.

Congress has promised to provide free school education in Madhya Pradesh and implement the PESA Act made during the tenure of Congress in tribal notified areas.
