Since entering India with her four children earlier this year, Seema Haider, a citizen of Pakistan, has generated a lot of attention. Haider has apparently cemented a place in both Bollywood and Indian politics, even as the Ministry of External Affairs is looking into the situation. In an earlier statement last week, Masoom Kishor, the head of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), said that Haider would join the BJP’s ally. “Seema Haider is not a member of our party,” Her journey to India began in Pakistan.No doubt about it, she will be a part of our group.It will be a ticket from India to Pakistan if we do have to issue her a ticket after all. The clarification came from Union Minister Ramdas Athawale.

As reported in mint, the 30-year-old also tried out for a role in a movie on the murder of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal. According to reports mentioned in mint, she met with executives from Jani Firefox Production House earlier this week to prepare for an audition. However, after receiving a clean bill of health from the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad, the Pakistani national said she will act in the movie (as a RAW official). Sources informed news organisation PTI that the pair had been suspended pending a thorough investigation.
