The 69th national convention of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday. He addressed thousands of Vidyarthi Parishad workers from across the country here. “I say without any hesitation on the public platform that I am an organic product of Vidyarthi Parishad,” said Amit Shah.

“Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has very patiently provided solutions to many problems faced by the students. Today, the students welcomed me with echoes of ‘Kashmir ho ya Guwahati, Apna Desh Apni Mitti’! (Be it Kashmir or Guwahati, it’s our nation, it’s our soil!) Don’t worry, Kashmir is ours! North-East is ours!,” said Amit Shah at the convention.

Youth power is backbone of our country: Amit Shah

“Youth power is the backbone of any country and it is the youth power that works to take the country and society to the peak. Many youth in India have changed the era. You don’t even need to search for a path, you have to follow the path of knowledge, modesty and unity that generations of Vidyarthi Parishad have created over the past 75 years. You just need to be determined,” said Amit Shah.

Praising the tenure of PM Modi, the Union Home Minister said that he is continuously giving impetus to the development of the country. The future of the youth is involved in this. India is number one in digital and LED. The country administered the maximum number of anti-corona vaccines. Now promoting startups. Our government made many changes in the field of higher education. Today there are more than 2 lakh startups in the country, many of which have started in small cities. Applications in research increased from 3000 to 1.5 lakh. Education is not just for making a career but for the development of the country.

Regarding the construction of Ram temple here, Amit Shah said that no one could have imagined that Ram temple would be built in Ayodhya.

“The last 10 years have proved that preserving cultural heritage and making modern development are not contradictory, but help each other. India has preserved its cultural heritage and also developed development that dazzled the world. No one could have imagined that Ram temple would be built in Ayodhya and Ram Lalla would sit in his house,” he said.
