Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said in the Lok Sabha that we all agree that the unfortunate incident of yesterday (Wednesday, December 13) was a serious lapse in the security of Lok Sabha members and a high-level inquiry has been started in this matter on the instructions of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
He further said, “Politics is not expected from any member on this issue, we have to work above party politics.” Such incidents of security lapses have happened in the Parliament in the past too and the proceedings have been conducted as per the instructions of the then Lok Sabha Speakers.
