Claiming victory in the Chhattisgarh polls, PM Modi said that it is clear from the first phase of voting that Congress is going to loose in the state. “Today, when I have come to Mungeli, to this land of Mahamaya Mai, the entire Chhattisgarh is shouting for the end of the misrule of the Congress. There is this a shout of joy — ‘First phase – Congress past, Second phase – Congress ast’. It has become clear from the first phase of voting that Congress is losing in Chhattisgarh.”

“I heartily thank the people of Chhattisgarh for voting overwhelmingly in favour of BJP in the first phase. Today, I especially want to express my gratitude to the women and youth of Chhattisgarh. I respectfully salute their strong decision, their faith and attachment towards BJP,” said PM Modi thanking voters.

“Both the track record and guarantee of BJP is that it has been created by BJP and only BJP will improve it. The countdown for the exit of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh has started. The time has come for the farewell of those Congress leaders who have looted you for 5 years,” added PM Modi attacking Congress.

PM Modi further took a poetic tone to attack Congress by saying — “Even Congress has understood, Chala chali ki bela hai, ab congress sarkaar kuch din ka hi khela hai‘.”

“The tribals, poor and backward people of Chhattisgarh are all eager to bid farewell to Congress. The women here have decided that they do not want Congress,” said PM Modi.

PM Modi also took a jibe at the alleged conflict between CM Bhupesh Baghel and senior party leader TS Singh Deo. PM Modi said: “When the Congress government was formed in Chhattisgarh, there was an agreement for the post of Chief Minister for two and a half years.”

“But in the first two and a half years itself, the Chief Minister looted so much, committed so much corruption that he accumulated a huge amount of looted money. When two and a half years came to an end, the safe was opened for the people of Delhi. Every leader of Delhi was bought, and the agreement remained in vain,” added PM Modi.

Well, the second phase of elections in Chhattisgarh are scheduled on November 17, followed by counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3.
