First of all, the festival of Diwali will be celebrated, second on December 3 when BJP government is formed and third Diwali will be celebrated in January when Ram temple is ready.”

Before Kondagaon, Amit Shah also addressed a public meeting in Jagdalpur in view of the assembly elections to be held in two phases on November 7 and 17, the veteran BJP leader also underlined that the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved great success for Chhattisgarh in its nine-year rule. Amit Shah said: “Prime Minister Modi ji had come here a few days ago and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 27 thousand crore for Bastar and Jagdalpur region. I am telling you, if you make the mistake of bringing Baghel ji again, then the money sent here by the Central Government will reach Delhi through Congress’s ATM. If BJP government is formed then the state government will develop this area by adding more money to the Rs 27 thousand crore.”

The Union Minister also attacked state chief minister Bhupesh Baghel in Kondagaon and said: “The Congress government is a government that makes false promises. Bhupesh Baghel, if you have courage, then come to Kondagaon and answer this matter. There was a Congress government at the Center from 2004 to 2014. How much money did you give for the development of Chhattisgarh?”

Voting for 20 seats in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Assembly will be held on November 7, while voting for the remaining 70 seats will be held in the second phase on November 17.
