In the poll-bound state Chhattisgarh, the politics is revolving around a very popular game Candy Crush. A picture of Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel is getting circulated on social media and internet, in which he can be seen playing Candy Crush game while sitting in a meeting.
As soon the picture went viral, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made it an issue by highlighting alleged casual act by the chief minister.
BJP’s national IT cell head, Amit Malviya, shared the picture on social media platform X, and wrote: “Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is also relaxed, he knows that no matter how much he fights, the government will not come. Perhaps that is why instead of paying attention to the meeting related to Congress candidate selection, he thought it appropriate to play CANDY CRUSH.”
😂 pic.twitter.com/bcer39zx4o

As the picture went viral, CM Bhupesh Baghel himself shared the same picture through his official X account and made a clarification. He sarcastically replied that he’s on a decent level in Candy Crush and he’s assured of his party’s victory in the upcoming assembly elections.
Here’s what CM Bhupesh Baghel said:
दरअसल उनको मेरे होने पर ही… pic.twitter.com/PtEfmrSrps

Over CM Bhupesh Bhagel’s clarification, former CM of the state and senior BJP leader Dr. Raman Singh attacked CM Baghel by quoting to his post on X. Former CM said: “Bhupesh ji, you have been “playing” with Chhattisgarh for the last five years. Land scam game, Coal scam game, Sand scam game or Liquor Scam Game. Now that the code of conduct has been imposed, if you can’t play scam games then you are playing Candy Crush. Amazing, in 5 years you are at 4400 level of Candy Crush, and your government is at 420 level. Well don’t worry, after November 17 you will have to do this full time.”

Then CM Bhupesh Baghel reverted back to former CM Raman Singh’s allegations by calling his regime of “Kamishankhors”. CM Bhupesh Baghel said: “Don’t worry! I am crushing only candies, but public is going to crush Kamishankhors again.”
How cute dr sahab!
Kaise kar lete hein aap ye sab?
Koi tonic wagarah lete hein kya?“With Family and Extended Family” 15 saal tak “Kamishankhori ka Commonwealth” khelne wale ab aisi baatein karenge?

Meanwhile, CM Bhupesh Baghel also revealed his level on the Candy Crush game. An X user @antar_dwand asked CM Baghel’s level on Candy Crush. He asked, “I have crossed 4000 levels. You? Have a contest in which everyone will tell their level of Candy Crush.”
Replying to the user, CM Bhupesh Baghel revealed, “Right now I am at 4400.”

An X user @DewdropsInApril came in support of CM Bhupesh Baghel playing Candy Crush, claiming that it’s a way of doing meditation. She wrote: “My daughter says playing candy crush is kinda meditation, and it gets her more creative and productive at work !! And, I can see that clearly.”
To this, CM Baghel replied: “God bless her”.
