Panaji, March 29: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said that Benaulim MLA Capt Venzy Viegas has been elected as its Legislative Party Leader in the State Assembly. In a letter addressed to the Speaker of the Assembly, party’s State Convenor Rahul Mhambre said the decision was taken at a meeting held at the party’s office on March 29, 2022. “The meeting was attended by Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas and Velim MLA Cruz Silva. At the meeting, Venzy Viegas, MLA of Benaulim constituency, was unanimously elected as the Legislative Party Leader of Aam Aadmi Party,” Mhambre said in the letter.
