
On Monday, April 12, BJP President JP Nadda attacked YSCRP-led government in Andhra Pradesh and accussed them of sponsoring religious conversions in the state. JP Nadda also targeted state Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on letting go the corruptions in the state.
During a public address in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, JP Nadda said that he was surprised to know about the “state-sponsored” religious conversion taking place in the state. He also alleged that the state government of supporting religious leaders who are carrying out conversions in Andhra and paying them salaries.
JP Nadda said that– “YSRCP govt is deep into corruption, miss-governance and nepotism. The continuous attacks on Hindu temple and no punishment to culprits shows that it is a govt of miss-governance which doesn’t believe in secular ethos and BJP stand for secular.”
Nadda further added– “There is rampant corruption, corruption in liquor, sand, land… all types of corruption. I have been told that state debts have reached Rs 4 lakh crores, which are being spent on unproductive work.” He also targeted state on the religious conversions and said ” It is astonishing to know about state-sponsored conversion happening here. State are supporting religious leaders and giving them salaries,” as quoted by ANI.

JP Nadda further praised the Centre by adding, “Schemes brought by Govt of India has witnessed a sea change in empowerment of youth, women and people below poverty line. From Ujala, Ujjwala to Ayushman Bharat, all sections have been taken care.”
While addressing the people, he assured of retaining Assam and Tamil Nadu, and to form NDA government in Puducherry and a government in West Bengal as well. Nadda said, “We will perform well in Kerala.”
On Sunday, April 11, BJP’s co-incharge of Andhra Pradesh Sunil Dheodhar also alleged YSRCP government of cheating the Hindus in the name of fraudulent Hindu certificates.
Bharatiya Janata Party is in alliance with Janasena in Andhra pradesh for upcoming elections.
