
While holding a political rally in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, on Saturday, Prime Minster Narendra Modi attacked Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and her party Trinamool Congress (TMC) for being indulged in cut-money practices.
PM Modi talked about TMC’s priorities towards the state and said, “Handicraft, business, marketing, investment are not among TMC’s priorities. Didi’s TMC is an expert in ‘Tolabaazi’; Didi’s TMC is an expert in cut-money. Didi’s TMC is an expert in killing BJP workers. Didi’s TMC is an expert in the rigging.”

Further, he added, “The reason behind Didi’s anger is not only BJP and Modi but the people whose trust Didi has broken. The minority community that Didi persuaded are in distress so she needs to appeal to them continuously,” as quoted by ANI.

Speaking up for the people of Bengal, PM said, “This election is not only being fought by BJP but the people of Bengal are also fighting this election.”
He said, “Didi abuses EC, CAPF, EVM to the extent that Didi is abusing her own party’s polling agents now. She is so desperate that she is defaming Bengal’s voters. Didi, o Didi! People of Bengal do not expect you to have sensitivity anymore,” as quoted by ANI.
The fourth phase of Bengal assembly elections on 44 seats of the state, took place on Saturday. The West Bengal assembly elections is scheduled to be held in eight phases, starting from the 27th of March till the 29th of April, 2021. The counting will take place on the 2nd of May.
