
While addressing a rally in Basirhat Dakshin, West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah makes several attacks on Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, especially on her demand of resignation from Shah.
He says, “Didi is repeatedly saying Amit Shah must resign. Didi when people will ask me to resign then I will. But you must prepare as you will have to resign on May 2”.
Adding further, he says, “I have come here to make one request. Didi has ruled for 10 years. Would it look good to give her a small farewell? So you should give her a farewell by giving 200 seats to BJP,” as quoted by ANI.

Again, he adds, “Earlier, Didi encouraged youngsters and women (in Sitalkuchi) to come forward and gherao CAPF. You said and left on your wheelchair. But because of you, four people died there. On the same morning, a BJP worker also died in the constituency,” quotes ANI.
In addition to this, Shah is scheduled to hold a public meeting in Basirhat Dakshin followed by another roadshow in Panihati.
Well, after the violence, that took place in Cooch Behar on Saturday, the TMC demanded the resignation of the Union Home Minister.
Meanwhile, at a press conference in Siliguri led by Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, she spoke to the families of the ones who were shot dead in the Cooch Behar violence.
Banerjee said, “They fired targeted chest. If their intention was to disperse the mob, they may fire on the leg but they targeted chest. They are CISF. They have no experience to curb mob”.
Bengal CM has also ensured that her government will demand a CBI investigation into the incident.
